In our final two weeks of class together we look to finish out our current reading selections and focus on the final exam.
The structure of the final exam is as follows.
60-70 multiple choice questions
1-40 are based on VocabuLit lessons 7-10
41-70 are based on The Diary of Anne Frank and Kidnapped (Great Expectations for honors)
There will also be 5-7 short response questions. Here is one...
1. Out of all of the protagonists we have read this year who do you feel is the most compelling and why. Choose any character from the list and apply two traits to the character from the character trait list. Start with a strong topic sentence and use details from the reading to support your answer.

Prove the diary is real. Many Holocaust deniers have claimed that the diary is a fabrication, created just to perpetuate the idea that the Holocaust was a myth. Who says this and what are their claims? What reasons do they give to assert their claims are true? Prove the diary is real. What evidence is give to refute these claims. Write one full page on this idea and hand it in by Friday, May 19th for extra credit. Please include the website you used for your information. NO ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER CLASSES ON FRIDAY!!
